april 7- there might be more
so i have an addiction. it's fabric. i love the stuff, and when you are lucky enough to have jenny's down the street it doesn't hurt you so bad to buy it. at 1.69 a yard.. that's nothing. i've started a collection, and have no where to put it. it gets shoved into a tiny hall shelf. so my organizing has trickled over from yesterday.
all my fabric is folded, my ribbons, threads, patterns etc.. are all labeled in containers. i love the fact that i can see it all here. makes me want to get more creative.. and isn't that the goal of this month?
april 6- go crazy
i'm not sure if it is the fact that i am about to have a baby, or if it the lack of storage space in this place, but today i did some major organizing. i bought one of these babies.
and with it i decides to buy some containers and give some things a home. now there is a place for everything, and i can actually find what i want without taking everything out of the cupboard! i'm lovin it.

april 1- the man can sleep
i've had quite the challenge in the kids room. you see, i have a wall with black and white damask paper on it. how do you tie that into boy?
obviously baker and i never imagined being here at the mora kai with two kids.. but what can you do?
in my attempt to find boy bedding, i failed.. so i shopped for fabric instead. for emmy, and dane. when it is all done it will be really cute. but today i could only manage a crib bumper.. which still needs a little work.
these pictures were taken with my phone so aren't the best quality. i'll replace them with new ones later.
as you can see, it still needs a little work. i can't wait to really finish it.

i've never been one to turn down a challenge
especially from my sister.
she just had a baby, and i am about to have one, and i think we have been in the same rut. to get herself and people motivated she issued a little challenge. you can read it on the right.
here i am taking it on as well.. in the hopes of passing a lot of time until my little one gets here.. because i really only have this month left. yikes. and partly because i have felt my creative juices slowly disappear.
if you are up for the challenge leave a link so we can follow you too!
i should also add, that one of my favorite cooking blogs is "get off your butt and bake", only natural to draw inspiration from her. so hop to it, and get off your butt and create.
